Wires missing out of Bosch CSB 250-2RET?

I have been given a drill by my friend 'if you can get it workin you can have it'
well opened the back and there are no connecting wires from the trigger to the moter, i have found the service manual and codes to order cables just wanted to know if its a possible fix or am i wasting my time,
