Unfortunately yes!
They also operate under the name of Kitchen Dreams but it should be kitchen nightmares.
Everything was wrong, no holes on the units to put scrows on, all cupboards in different colours, the sink was dented, the tap wasn't the one we bought and a lot more!
I regret not researching as you are doing now, their customer service is impossible to get through.
A real nitghtmare

Unregretably yes. Do not waste your money and the distress it will cause. The goods are substandard e.g. bad quality, damaged and the cupboard fell off the wall hours after it had been fitted. Trading standards were absolutely hopeless, they looked at the goods, acknowledged the poor standards/quality but took no action. In hindsight it is better to lose your deposit rather than face the ordeal, and even better not to go into a contract with them at all.

Disgrace disgrace disgrace the owner has been investigated he is a rouge trader having been brought to court more than once he changes the names of his companies to mask his crap operation why arent the trading standards dealing with all theses complaints its a disgrace stay well clear I have never hear a good word about them yet !

They are useless including their reps who will do anything to get your deposit and then tell you a pack of lies about your kitchen being held up for all sorts of reasons dont touch them with a barge pole stay local that way any problems you can deal with it directly RSK are bad news dont do it I should know having had a very bad expirence with them which will now go to to court

I paid thousands of pounds to ROCK SOLID KITCHENS. The kitchen arrived, I had to fit it in.

They said I got a "discount" on a kitchen & said I was saying "over 3000".

They haven't supplied everything for the kitchen. I haven't got Drawer handles, There isn't hole's in the drawers for me to put my own drawer handles in. The cabinets are in shadey work.

I have to go & buy things so I can fix their mistakes, eventhough I paid good money & have to buy things which should of already been supplied.

Also, I phoned them to talk about the kitchen and 6, SIX TIMES they hung up on me. I also asked if I could talk to the manager, they said "he's out" I asked when he'll be back they said "some time after 10"..

I'd like a REFUND or for them to SUPPLY me with the things they "forgot" in the deilvery.

My kitchen was delivered from RSK today but should have actually been delievered two days previous - but apparently the van broke down?. The quality of the kitchen delivered is very poor. Drawers missing, fixtures and fittings missing, feet missing. Cupboard doors scratched and chipped and all round very shady. The delivery drivers were also under the influence of alcohol. Not impressed at all and they'll be hearing from me come Monday morning!

Hi - I signed an agreement with them on the 21st Jan 09 as I thought I was getting a good deal - but to my horror yesterday for piece of mind I decided to goodle and I saw so many bad stories I have now cancelled my order - I may loose my 100.00 depost but I would rather this that loose all my money with what sounds like a nightmare kitchen - I have used my 7 days cooling off period which became law since 1st October - so lets see what happens

Theses guys have a rep over here in Belfast called Patrick Connor who does a sale job on you and then lets you down and no kitchen ever appears this is a scam stay well away from this so called rock kitchens it should be called cock kitchens .

If there are so many complaints about them, then why is the Trading Standards not doing anything about this.

I thought there were Regulations and laws in place to protect consumers and businesses from unscrupulous vendors and rogue traders. I was told that the legislation is largely enforced by Local Trading Standards Officers, but other organisations and bodies, such as the Office of Fair Trading, may also investigate or take action.

What action has been taken then, I hope the trading standards can answer that question?

I was ripped off as well by this company. The sad part about all this is that you have to spend more money to take them to the small claims court. The Government should step in and get people their refund and stop this company from trading. Their websites and advert also should be banned to stop cheating people. This is classified as theft and obtaining money by deception. My first delivery was on 11 July, absolute rubbish, nothing fits you name it: cabinets wrong size, doors wrong size, no fittings etc etc

Don't under any circumstances suffer the nightmare of buying a miller killer kitchen (rock solid in this case), you will regret it. The goods arrived damaged and missing. Within hours of installation a part of the veneer peeled away from the cupboard door after cooking. On the second day two cupboards ripped off the wall and crashed to the ground. Luckily no one was in the kitchen at the time. You may as well get a few cardboard boxes and put them up instead.

If you haven't paid for it yet then I suggest you hightail it as far away from Rock Solid as possible. Find a decent joiner who will supply you with something from Howdens which will be the same price and 100x better quality (mind you, 100 x 0 is 0). If you have paid for it, well best of luck to you. Don't bother with the premium rate phone line, try emailing them instead, they actually do ring you back eventually, even if they are disgracefully rude.
