how do I reattach the hotpoint TL62 dryer door to the hinge slots?
When I remove the screws from the dryer door to reattach the new hinge I am unable to remove the plastic clips into which the hinge ends should slot...
The hinge bearings are simply pushed onto spigots on the door where the screws went in.
Carefully(!) prise them off with a flat bladded screwdriver. You can then push the broken end of the hinges out of the plastic bearing.
It's quite simple!
