how can I get the sound cards for my new laptop?

i removed the vista it came with because it was not compatable with so many things I had to have access to. but when I installed my xp i found i was unable to have sound and can not find sound cards or drivers on the web site of the make computer, its a fujitsu siemens amilo. if anyone can help with this i would be so grateful.
