I've dropped my laptop and now it won't charger unless the charger is in a certain way. It recognises the charger is in but doesn't charging properly. Is it easily fix able? Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks
i had a similar problem ie the power connector had been pushed too far in so i went to maplin and bought a soldiering iron and sum soldier and a set of small precission screwdrivers for under 10 pounds i picked up a replacement connector for a fiver from a small independent laptop shop now normally i would have just taken it to the shop to get fixed but when i enquired and was told it would cost 5 pounds for the part and 60 for labour well u can imagine what i though sod that now ive never opened a laptop up in my life before but really its all common sense aslong as u have a fair idea of how the bits work together
