TV is gone completely dead, looks like a blown fuse?
In Nov 2007 I bought a Technosonic TV from Sainsbury and now now seven month down the line the red light that gives access is gone dead, it looks like a fuse problem . The problem I have now is that I have misplaced my receipt so I am unable to return it. Has anyone had this problem before and how did they resolve it.
It's the on/off switch, very common on this set and easy to repair, Sainsbury aren't carrying any of this manufacturer's TVs now so other than a repair you'd have to go for a (more expensive) replacement or a refund.

How did you pay for it in the first place? if by card, get a bank statement to show the transaction or contact the seller and explain the receipt problem. The law is such that within a year of purchase faulty goods can be exchanged for working goods or warranty repairs undertaken without cost.If in doubt contact your loacl trading standards office for advice.
