Seperating vaccum head?

I can't remove the blue cover of the vaccum head. I see no screws to remove. It does pops in some places, like it wants to seperate itself to replace belt, but wont come completly apart and I am afraid I will break if if I keep trying. Is there a secret to seperatly these 2 pieces? It's a Kenmore Power Mate if that helps.

There are 2 screws underneath the light cover. The light cover just pulls off by hand.
