The power lead connection on my fujitsu siemens amilo laptop is getting hot?
Is there any where that I can get a repair done to my Fujitsu Siemens Amilo laptop.The power connector was getting very hot and damaged the jack plug.I have a new power connector and this still gets hot! A local computer shop said I have an open circuit between the socket and the 'mother board'. Any solutions please, without having to change the mother board, as the cost of that makes it un-economical?
Open the computer back carefully and resolder the jack on the motherboard either by yourself or on any electronics repairshop. It is an easy fix.
