I have a VCR tape which won't play because the little wheels are stuck and won't turn (on the tape itself not the VCR) ....what could it be and can it be fixed? Thanks!
If you think the wheels won't turn 'cos you've tried to do it when the cassette is out of the machine..then it could be somethig else that's wrong 'cos there's a small hole on the underside of the cassette with a sprung flap...when the cass goes into the M/c a rod goes in this hole and releases the wheels and allows them to turn..you can check this out by pressing intothis hole with a pen or match etc.then try turning... the hole is abt 6mm wide and abt20mm from the back of cass in the middle
