what is the best sort of plywood to do my car trailer with

I'm a time served carpenter & joiner. I recently re fubished my trailer with WBP (water and boil proof) ply and coated the sides with Dulux Woodsheen (Georgian Oak). On a tradesman painter's advice I didn't use expensive undercoat he told me just to apply 3 x coats. It has come up a treat - looks great!! Hope this is of help.
Tips!!!
I fitted and bolted on the sides and the front and back then disassembled and removed the bolts and painted the heads with black Hammerite It was at this stage I painted the plywood parts. If you have space this can be done in a spare room or shed if you have space. Rain no problem then. Also get a piece of scrap board or ply and bore as many holes as you require for bolts, pop them in and paint the heads. This keeps threads clean. Believe it or not this all saves time - no black paint runs on the Woodsheen. Anyway my is advice - WBP and plenty paint or whatever will do the trick. Especially the edges.

Best is marine quality ply, very expensive.next is WBP which stands for water/boil/proof.not so durable.worst is shuttering ply, cheapest. All have pro's and cons.I'd use birch wbp and seal all edges/cutts with PVA and then paint, good compromise
