hotpoint aquarius 1000 washing machine?

the water wouldn't drain after cycle

don

no power to machine (door lock light not on)
fuse changed in plug
different socket used
still nothing happens
any ideas ?

hi we have just had the same problem. TURN OFF POWER AND UNPLUG!!!!!!! open your machine by undoing the two screws at the back at the top in both corners . then slide the lid to the back ,and lift the lid off you will then see the inside of your machine the motor is on the right hand side at the back it has the belt attached to it if the belt is still attached try to move the white coloured arm on top of the motor it has a catch that you can push with your finger push the arm up and down a few times
if that does not work im afraid you will have to get some one in or get a new washer
