egg smell when running blowers in a corsa?

my wife has a vauxhall corsa and she has been getting an egg smell when running the blowers. I took off the cap to the screen wash which stunk, cleared it out and blowers smell okay again, but she will have to run the car round so I can check again. can anyone tell me why the egg smell has come through the blowers?

My girlfriend had the same smell but it was from the catalitic convertor, but you usally get mis-firing with it

Can think of a few,But,can't help recalling a while back when the little bas****s round here were running around throwing eggs at doors/windows/CARS.Some fun huh?Anyway,sulfer smell is indicative of a malfunctioning cat,Would'nt hurt to get that checked,just in case.
