Hi Kieth,
Does your Bosch unit have a winter or cool plus switch near the themostat control ?
If it has and your light is on at half power (dim )when the door is closed.
Turn of this switch.
It is used to allow the light to generate warmth in the fridge in low ambient conditions and make the thermostat cut in earlier.
