Mend Citroen Berlingo Clutch Stiff Floor

how can i fix my berlingo clutch?

i have a citroen berlingo, the clutch is really stiff so i had the cable changed but now the biting point on the clutch is on the floor and i have to put all my weight on it to change gear, i am told it is a self adjusting clutch cable so how can i get it to adjust so it bites higher?
