My washing machine has been stood in a garage for 12 months and worked fine prior to this. Now it just sits with the neon light on the front panel and does nothing else. Water feeds are good, door switch is good. I've blown into the pressure switch and this has no effect. Are there any other safety switches that would prevent it from starting?
OK I sorted this one. It was the door switch after all! I removed it, took it apart, put it back together and it came alive. Just because the neon was turning on/off didn't mean the door switch was OK.
