I have put new taps on the bath but have had to use a new 22mm connector but I think the old main pipe is not quite 22 and so there is still a weep. Is there a different connector I should have used or olive or sealing paste ?
you've probably used a metric fitting on imperial pipe,the more you tighten it the worse it will leak,you can buy a 3/4 olive to fit a 22mm fitting it's just the same but a bit thicker, why not try some ptfe wrapped round existing olive.don't go nuts with the spanner though.
