I moved house yesterday and since then my washing machine has been playing up. The main problem was that it wouldn't drain at the end of its wash-cycle and also it spun much slower than it normally does. I took the drainage pipe off the pipe underneath the sink and put it over the top of the sink instead, this solved the drainage problem (maybe the pipes underneath the sink were blocked) but it still doesn't spin as fast as it did before. Firstly it wasn't spinning the drum fast at all but now it spins but just not as fast as it's supposed to. What could be the problem?
I had a simallar prob, my girlfriend loves the "colur catchers" this little piece of cloth got stuck in the pump and the washing machine wnet full cycle but would not drain or spin, I am no expert but the engineer said it was very common, now no more colur catchers...............
