ok the last few nights ive been woken around 3am to a humming noise coming from the bath when i touch the taps there vibrating it goes on for about five mins if not touched but if i run the cold tap the sound dies away. Could someone help me with info. thanks
Adjust your incoming cold water stop tap .The problem you have is known as mains hammer.Slight adjustment up or down to the incoming pressure will stop this

poss the ball valve in the water tank in the loft .. its very common , they can cause vibration as they fill
