still no sound?

Open Control Panel (Start Button > Settings > Control Panel)
Double-click System Icon
Open Hardware Tab
Press Device Manager Button
Expand the Sound, Video, Games Controllers list.

Check that your sound card is listed and see if there are errors. If their are errors try uninstalling it (right-click and select uninstall) then reboot your PC.

have you checked your speakers.try them on your personal hi fi or your headphone socket on your hi fi system, if ok take the cover off your pc and check if your sound card is in its socket proper.
