And as from next year Corgi have lost the contract to Capita so will everyone be Capita regd.I got out a couple of years back and glad i did.A right royal rip off all those courses and registration fees.

Hi Anne, its usually because the gas engineers have to be CORGI registered and the electric ones do not.CORGI registration is expensive.You can contact CORGI, they are in the phone book and they should be able to point you in the direction of a gas fitter that repairs cookers.Other than that, contact the manufacturer and they will have their own engineers or gas trained agents.All the best.
