My tumble dryer runs but does not get hot?

Chris. How can you give that answer based on what info has been given? They haven't even said what make it is, is it a vented or condenser, gas or electric.
It could be a wiring fault, pcb fault etc How does the person know the drum is turning? Many dryers have solid doors, the person may hear the motor turning but the belt could have snapped etc, etc.

You know what they say, a little knowledge is dangerous.

the problem is either thermostat or heater needs replacing however some thermostats has got a reset button located at rear press red button if you have reset button and try your dryer
