Radiator not heatng?

An upstairs radiator is not heating up even after bleeding, the water inside remains cold to just warm

sounds like you have air in your system.. while you system is running turn all of your radiators off with the flow valves except for the one that is not heating.... this should force all the pressure to that one radiator and hopefully all of the air also.. try bleeding it again once it begins to heat... then open all of the radiators again.. you may also need to balance your system..

Might - just might be that all the heat has been used up before it reaches this cool one. In that case the solution may be to balance the rads... adjust the lock shield valves to obtain a 10-11 degree C drop between in and out. One way is to do it without measuring is to fully open the control valve and fully close the lock valve - then slowly open the lock valve to give a reasonable temperature. Then on to next rad... Think your're supposed to begin with first radiator - the one closest to the circulating pump.

You might try turning off all rads except your cool one to see what happens.

if you have thermostatic valves on these rads they are stuck in off position. turn on full and tap with a spanner.
