How can I fix my Zanussi 1400 Jetstream (washer/dryer)?

no its not a memory issue its more likely diagnosing a fault and dealing with it in the way the manufacturer has told it to do should this type of fault be found.you need to get into the memory and read the fault code and this would instantly give you an indication of whats happening.common faults are failed heating elements or drain pumps but you need test gear to check these.sorry I can't be more help
