I had the opposite problem, I'd have heating but no hot water except when the heating was on.
It was fixed by changing the hot water thermistor - £30 part, £30 from the relatively reasonable plumber, who in fairness had to drain the system to install it.

i have the same problem with my ravenheat boiler, i carn't get the heating on. Have youmanaged to get your heating back on. If you have pls can you let me know how you did it.
