Creda T601CW tumble dryer, drum struggling to turn, ?
I have a Creda T601CW tumble dryer, the durm is unable to turn if you put in more than 2 bath towels. It sorts of hum and the drum stays stationery. If I put a few shirts on their own or the 2 bath towels it does dry them but anthing more it struggles, obviously not economical or wise as I have other items to dry. Never had this problem before and the machine is approx 7 years old.
Please can you help?
Either the motor on its way out or possibly the Motor Start Capacitor.
Worth changing the capacitor as they are less than a fiver on Ebay.(A silver component with 4 tags on top )
If you are not comfortable with electrics then call for professional help.
