I had the same problem with a Kenmore but it was the clock type motor on the timer ...........boy what a mess we had after it soaked laundry room and family room .......glad we didn`t leave with it on as we have on some occassions .....good luck

Try unpluging it while its filling to see if that stops it. If it doesn't, sounds like a bad fill valve.
