How do you adjust idle speed on victa 2 stroke mower?

My Victa Craftsman Deluxe 2 stroke mower will not idle correctly, only runs flat out all the time. How do you adjust the idle speed?

It sounds like an air leak. Check the seal o ring on the recoil housing.

All the Vcta 2-strokes I've seen have a governed fixed speed. The 'throttle' control on the handles is only used for cold starts, and is actually just a choke control.

If the speed really is excessive, check for leaks in the pipe that connects the engine cowling and the carb.
