If the washer drains but doesn't, it is most likely 1 of 2 things. 1. If it will agitate but not spin, you could have a bad clutch, the brake not releasing, or possibly a problem in the transmission. 2. If it will not agitate or spin, but will pump out, you most likely have a bad drive coupler between the motor and transmission.
