Can I fix my Samsung LE32S8 TV?

TV shuts off for a few seconds and then comes back on normally It does this randomly 2 or 3 times a day.Have not called engineer because of random nature- it may not happen for hours - he may never experience it during a service visit. Can I do anything, please?

Mine did this when I first bought it, you have to arrange for a Samsung engineer to come out and upgrade the tv via a laptop that they bring along, it takes about 10mins, then no problem.

It's unfortunately not an answer, but atleast you are not the only one. I have the exact same problem and as you say, turning it in to a serv rep would most likely do nothing due to the random nature. If you still have guarantee (I don´t), i suggest you return it as it obviously is a production related error.
