well water?

i live in an area with no mains water supply,i have my own well, what i would like to try and do is to pipe the water from the well to a pump(but do not want to store water) is there any way of the pump operating when tap is turned on, i was wondering if a flow switch would do this. any help and suggestions would be gratefully received. we only use the house on summer weekends.
