how can i stop my fan belt from squeeling?

i have 2000 model transit van, new generation, its a 2.4td T350 the fan belt is squeelig away and its very annoiying even more so wen its wet, how do you tighten or put tension on the belt as its not as straight forward as the old shape transit. please help!!!
