how do you reset the computer when its stuck in a password protected prog?

Win 98 and later operating systems allow you to press the three keys "control" "alt" "delete" at the same time (called the three fingered salute) to access the "task manager" control program, this should allow you to see all the running progs.
Select (click on its name in the list to highlight it) the one causing the problem, it may have a name similar to the game title, and choose to end the task. It should then allow you access back to the pc.
I don't know the particular program you r having difficulty with but this kind of situation is usually recoverable.
Failing that take a chance and use the pc reset switch to reboot as a last resort, if its an ex office pc then it may only have a power switch and that may have to do.
Providing the pc is not writing data to the hard disk at the time (check the hard disk LED at front of pc) it may restart in a mode where it runs the scandisk integrity check, don't worry this is normal after an unexpected restart.
If it asks to to fix problems it may have some files improperly closed down ,choose to fix and save these just in case but they are not likely to be needed again and will be found after the reboot as file????.chk and can usually be deleted.
