Hi They reccommend running your van fridge at least every 2/3 months,( for 24hrs) I left mine for 12 months and when I got it out ( Jayco camper van) it took 24hrs on 240v for it to come good. If that does not work you can remove it and carefully roll it over and shake it up side down , this usually stirs it up and they work Ok, one chap removed his and drove 150ks to get it fixed in the city and when they got there the tec said it will probably work now, and it worked Ok, the repairman told him about the shake up fix, Cheers Des.
