Has anyone fixed a leaking Karcher K6.5 Pressure washer handle?

I have a karcher 3.65J pressure washer and it leaks from the outlet of the handgun whenthe extension sections or the variable lance or t racer is in inserted.
Any suggestions for a repair ?

Karcher handles appear to be unrepairable. But if the problem is just with the O-ring, you can change it.
You can either buy the "correct" replacement at retail price, or make your own.
I wouldn't have believed this to be possible until they showed me at my local garage. Get a larger O-ring, but of the appropriate thickness and cut a section out of it to give the desired diameter. Join the cut ends with a tiny drop of Superglue. Once in place it cannot come apart because it is compressed by the joint.

Yes the oring 6362498 may fix this but often the guns break inside and karcher dont sell the gun parts (for this gun). You have a Premium karcher K6 and the only one better is the K7 series ! Because these machines have such high pressure we advise all customers to upgrade to the new style gun that has a brass metal clip not the cheap plastic version. the new part number for brass clip in style karcher gun is online here http://www.sparesgiant.com/p-10411-karcher-clip-in-gun-brass-inlet-k6-k7-series.html

I haven't found an exact solution to this yet but the problem lies with the small rubber o'ring that sits at the end of the pressure hose where it fits into the handle.

The handle slips off the hose when you pull out the retaining clip that keeps it in place. In my view this is a convenient design in that the handle to rotate around the hose axis - but from a longevity perspective it is far from satisfactory. The joint relies on interference between the o-ring and the surrounding plastic socket - as the o-ring ages and degrades the egress of water is not only possible but highly likely in my opinion.

The only solution as far as I can see is to fit an o-ring of the correct size - assuming the plastic socket has not become worn - in which case finding an oversize o-ring may prove almost impossible. So far I have been unable to identify an oring kit from karcher that would solve this - all the spares sites I have looked at do not appear to list this specific o-ring ... I am beginning to wonder if the problem is actually solvable.
