How do I open the lid and then replace the lid switch?
My Kenmore 80 series extra capacity plus model 110 washer has difficulty with the spin cycle. I washed clothes today and when checked the spin cycle had not begun. I closed the lid twice and the spin cycle begun. It washes fine. How difficult is it to replace the lid switch? Also, I am having problems opening the top to get at the lid. Is there a trick to opening the washer top?
