how to solve a stalling problem???

Probably why the previous owner flogged it to you, he was having the same grief. Anyway next time the quad stalls, try loosening the fuel cap & see if it runs again, if it was used for off-roading then it could be that the breather hole in the cap is blocked. If that don't work then whip out the plug & see if your still getting a spark, could be a faulty ht coil or cdi which only start malfunctioning when the engine is warm. hope this helps....
