`test` display?

i have hotpoint wd860..i select the cycle i wish to use but it goes to a `test` cycle..ive switched it off at mains for at least 20mins...gone back to restart my option but it goes straight back to test...ive even let the test take its course...how can i stop the test cycle please ty
