Whirlpool 20RBD4 Side by Side Fridge not cold enough?

I've just see the same problem posted by Kath.... I have exactly the same problem.... the fridge is temp is no-where near correct as per the setting on the door.

When ours was 2 months old the device at the top / left of the fridge side that blows cold air from he freezer into the fridge stuck open and had to be changed......it froze all the things at the back of the fridge !

I was wndering if it's the same device causing this problem or just the thermostat (wherever that is).
