how do i get old door seal off hotpoint washing machine wf220?

Unplug the machine and open the door. Around the rubber rim on the outside of the machine, you will note a wire retainer which connects together via a clip.
Remove this wire and then remove the lid of the washer. Once open. you will note, at the front inside, the rubber seal where again, it is held in place by a larger wire retainer, this time, held together by a screwhead or bolt. By loosening this screw/bolt, the wire will slacken and the rubber seal will easily pulled through the front door of the machine.
NOTE: As you remove the seal for the machine; Make a mental note of how it is fitted to the inner and outer part of the machine to avoid confusion when refitting.
Once new seal in place, tighten the inner wire and then re-attach the rim clip wire and "hey presto", Job Done! Good Luck....
