Mend Sanyo AVM-3257 Light Split Second

television won't turn on?

I went to turn on my television and the light from the center of my Sanyo model #AVM-3257 came on for a split second then went off. I've been unable to get the television to come back on. It acts like there is no power to the television. I've switched the outlet to see if that was the problem.Any information would be appreciated.

Have you checked the fuse inside the actual television? This is the most common fault in my experience. Also checking the plug fuse would be a primary check and the connection from the mains, are the wires making good contact from the plug to the TV?
