i have a potterton 50 e boiler it is old i grant you that but this morning there is no ignition it keeps trying to light for i would say 10 seconds then stops and alass still not fired up its not done it before so i am unsure of how to solve the problem
hi if you can hear it spark and still no ignition then you have an oil feed problem or the elctrodes need a sanding or the fan on the side can be gone make sure it its spinning as this is a common problem(capicator) if fan is not turning use a screwdriver to turn it and it may take off if it does the capicator needs replacing
