brigs and stratton running problem?

Lawnmower starts and runs, but surges. Spring is ok, fuel is new and cleaned gas tank. Plenty of spark. Maybe the carb gasket or carb?

Definately will be a carb gasket needing replaced very easy to do. Get new gasket off Ebay undo screws holding carb onto fuel tank. Clean everything fit new gasket and reassemble. Job done!
