Hi Jonathan, I struggled for ages trying to remove mine as well! I finally figured it out. You need to pull the drawer out as far as it will go then push down on the front end closest to you so that it's leaning down at an angle (You may feel it push down on gentle spring ). Then, holding it at this angle, pull it out towards you and it should come out.
