wont start new water pump and head?

Do you hear the fuel pump run when you turn the ignition on?
Are you getting a spark at the plugs?
Is this the X20XEV engine?
Have you done a compression or leak down test?

check plug leads are on correctly might find they are out by 1 rev bring engine to tdc on crank and check both valves are closed not in over lap then refit leads
has the oil pressure come up when you were cranking the engine hyd can followers will need oil pressure to open valves
