I have 2.2 vectra will not accelerate above 30mph?

the car had dirty fuel put in it. I have since drained fuel and flushed through with some redex. The top cover was removed to check timing chain, everything appears mechanically sound. The car starts 1st time every time, it revs fine but will not accelerate above 30mph. can somebody offer some advice.
