How can I fix my BOSCH AL 2450 DV Charger?

Replace both the R3 Resistor, 180K 1Watt (higher rating) which is probably fried and O/C - also the N-channel MOSFET, closest to the AC coming onto the board, an (ST)P6NK90Z which will be O/C on all pin / polarity measurements. Remove the MOSFET before checking. Cheers.

Have a 120V Bosch BC130 as well. Stop working about a week ago and it was R3 which is in between two 200V/150uF capacitor.
Replace i put in is 180k Ohm 2 watt. and the charger is working for now :)

The resistor is a 180 k ohm 1/2 watt you should replace with a 1watt resistor same ohms

they are all too expensive to buy considering the price of the whole drill kit with two batteries and charger being only slightly over the price of two chargers. Everyone is having the same problem with blown chargers, so it goes to show you that Bosch tools are cheaply made, and inadequately engineered, and it is worth the extra 30 per cent to buy a better unit in the first place.

Mine stopped working today (230V version).
Had the 110V (type BC130) version as well (at $45 in the USA) which has the same transformer as the 230V version.
Found out it was R3 which is next to the 400V/150uF capacitor.
It's value is 180 Kilo Ohm.
Replaced it and the charger is working fine again!

It will be expensive to have repaired - why not pick up a replacement used one on ebay
