How do i remove the valve cover on my bathroom tap?
Help !
I am tring to replace the valve on my bathroom tap which is dripping badly.
I can easily remove the tap head to expose the valve but cant remove the valve cover. The valve cover is smooth all over with no spanner shape at the bottom so i cant easily screw it off. I have tried a mole wrench by no luck.
Any suggestions??
I managed to fix this now. I was able to remove the cover by pouring over boiling water from my kettle and then using the wrench at the top of the cover rather than the bottom end where the thread is.
