mil light comes on?

engine electronic control system light (mil)comes on when engine runs. hyundai yrv2001

is the car a hyundai accent because these had a very common problem with the mass air flow sensors, if you have the fault memory read and the code 'fuel system lean - part load' or 'fuel system rich - wide open' then it is definately the mass air flow sensor.

A MIL light is generally an indication that the emissions control has detected a problem either with the emissions of the vehicle i.e. fuel ari mixture is too rich or too lean or with the emissions control system i.e lamda sensor, Cat. When was it last serviced & who by - was a thorough service?
