How to fix Sportcraft treadmill tx5.0?

I know this is old, and I'm not responding to the direct question, but I just got the tx 390 and had the same issue as Mike did. There's a kind of gravity switch that's a safety switch to keep the unit off when it's folded up, if that switch doesn't turn all the way it won't turn on. IDK if the previous owner had a problem with it and replaced the screw, but the one it pivots on is a tapered black wood/plastic screw like the others that hold the plastic panels in place, not a bolt or something else more logical o.0...

Sport craft tread mills have poor reviews and are a headace to say the least. I have a TX 390 and all of a sudden the console stoped recieving power. I checked fuses and connections. The led on the board lights up when the power is turned on but thats it. I don't have an answer to your question but the solution would be to throw it out and get a new one with a good review.

Im having the same problem. I think it is the speed sensor but my speed sensor appears to be different than the one they describe on the FAQ page for sportcraft.
