how do i fix the washer on my zafira?

Might be something simple - assuming that the washer bottle is full of water, given the recent cold conditions there could be ice either in the washer nozzles or in the pipework. Run some warm water over the nozzles to try to unfreeze them - if the pipework is frozen then unless you can get to it to run warm (not boiling) water / hairdryer over them you'll have to wait until the weather warms up. Put winter screenwash in the washer bottle to stop this happening again. If its not frozen - try using the rear washer first. I have a problem where my front jets don't work but they do once I have used my rear one. If you're not hearing the washer motor run (high pitched whirr) then it could be that you have a loose connection / broken motor. Find the washer motor (should be connected to your washer bottle) and check that the wires are tight.
